Spectacular time in the most beautiful setting. Tim was informed and interesting about the local vineyards and flora. Wine was delish. Magnificent scenery. Well worth it. Five stars!! — Cindy

We had the perfect day out. We met Tim at Creation where our walk began. He was full of interesting knowledge about the area, fauna, vineyards etc. We made our way to Ataraxia where we had our tasting in the most gorgeous little “chapel” with views over the valley.

Then we returned to Creation where we had the most delicious starter and main, as well as another tasting all included in the package. It really was a special day with stunning photos as memories of it. Will definitely do another Glamtrail. — Milly

A wonderful walk of two parts. The walk began with a gentle amble through grape laden vineyards and glorious apple orchards up to the church-like tasting at Ataraxia where you get astounding views of the surrounding farmlands. The tasting was both informative and enjoyable.

The second part of the walk is a peaceful meander back through the complex indigenous fynbos. Tim was a knowledgeable and passionate guide, as keen on his mountains as the wonders of the fynbos.

The meal at creation was great, with an extremely helpful staff who managed the complexities of a large group all wanting to taste different wines well. The perfect blend of exercise so you feel less guilty about the wine and lunch!

All in all a great day out.

—Rosemary, Creation Ataraxia

This hike is perfect for someone that wants to get a feel for Hemel en Aarde but does not want anything too strenuous. Tim is a great guide. It’s a beautiful part of the world that we appreciated even more thanks to Tim.

Ataraxia –great wine in an amazing building. Creation - great staff. Lovely wine. Good food. Our fellow hikers added to the experience. The trip was a joy. — Vikki  & Derek from Dublin Ireland
